The screw-down crown features a locking mechanism.
Twist the screw down crown counterclockwise to unlock it for further function settings.
After adjustment, push the crown back to Position I and screw it down clockwise to prevent accidental operation and ensure water resistance.
Turn the crown clockwise about 30 times at Position I to start.
Reminder: Marinus Automatic Diver’s Watches are powered by wrist movement; wind manually if not worn for more than 24 hours.
1. Pull the watch crown out to position III.
2. Rotate the crown to set the correct time.
3. Push back the watch crown. The second hand will immediately start moving.
4. Screw it down clockwise to prevent accidental operation after adjustment.
Before setting the date:
Confirm the time currently displayed on the watch is 12:00 PM.
Advance the hands clockwise. When the date changes over, it is AM.
1. Pull the watch crown out to position II.
2. Turn Crown anti-clockwise to correct date.
3. Push back the watch crown after setting
By presetting the rotating bezel, you can measure the elapsed time since the start of an event.
Set the Triangle Marker: Rotate the bezel to align the triangle marker with the minute hand.
The rotating bezel can only be turned counterclockwise. Do not force it clockwise.
Read the Bezel Scale Using the Minute Hand.
The position of the minute hand on the rotating bezel indicates the elapsed time.
1. Prepare a pin pusher.
The small arrows on the back of the strap links indicated which way the cotter pin should come out.
2. Rotate the handle clockwise to bring the point of the pin pusher towards and into the pin hole until the pin pushes out.
3. To rejoin the links, line up the links first. Take a removed pin and insert it with the rounded end down into the hole on the link. Use a nylon hammer to gently pound the pin into the hole.
4. Micro adjustments
Use a spring bar tool pop out the spring bar attaching the links of the buckle.
To attach the bar to desired buckle hole, compress it using the spring bar tool and slide it to the hole.
